Scope

This research study will build upon and extend the work done in the Simulation Driven Design research study conducted in 2013.

It focuses on

• The roles that are key to enabling simulation and analysis across the development cycle.
• The top objectives and measures for success of applying simulation.
• The biggest challenges and most widespread practices in use currently.

However, this study will extend beyond those efforts, looking at benchmarking respondents into top, middle and low performing cohorts. Comparing traits and characteristics of those cohorts will reveal some of the practices that are most closely related to successful use of simulation.
