About the Study:

Lifecycle Insights conducted the CAD Security Analysis Study. Lifecycle Insights surveyed over 295 of respondents to understand the role of CAD security features in the decision-making process for engineering executives when selecting a CAD solution for their company. Survey respondents originated mainly from North America and represented numerous industry verticals.

Study Demographics:

The findings of this study were based on 295 respondents spread across the following industries:

  • Manufacturing (42%)

  • Information Technology (34%)

  • Automotive (5%)

  • Heavy Equipment/Machinery (15%)

  • Aerospace, Consumer Products, and Medical Devices (7%)
