About the Study:
Lifecycle Insights conducted the CAD Security Analysis Study. Lifecycle Insights surveyed over 295 of respondents to understand the role of CAD security features in the decision-making process for engineering executives when selecting a CAD solution for their company. Survey respondents originated mainly from North America and represented numerous industry verticals.

Respondents’ company revenues varied widely, but most were between $750m to $2B(34%), $100 to $300m (23%), or under $100m (18%). 42% of the respondents worked in the manufacturing or production department, 34% in Information Technology, 5% in automative, 15% in Heavy Equipment/Machinery, 7% in Aerospace, Consumer Products, and Medical Devices, and the rest in other departments.
